Nothing like being constantly plagued by lag and disconnects to brighten one's day.
So, instead of screaming and cursing my mobile internet dongle for it's connectivity issues - I decided to write. Two sentences and a small amount of spelling correction is as far as I have gotten.

Dammit. So, I'm listening to EVE-Radio and the stream keeps buffering. I missed out on some roaming fun and really need to save up for re-subs and also for the Cynabal I recently aquired from the Serpentis arc.
I had a plan to write something about it, but couldn't think of anything. Stupid, blargh.

Beer. Yes. Okay, I'm off on a wild tangent so I'll finish this post.
Oh, tune into EVE-Radio if you don't already. Fuck sake.
Right now I'm probably sat on the gate in my expensive implants wearing nothing but a pod, this is going to be fun trying to get out of that.
Really, if I find the person that blew up my ship, I will pod them, I just hope my Crow is up to the job. I look at the scanner, Armageddon class Battleship incoming. He appears on my overview, a member of Morsus Mihi thinking his bigger, slower ship would be able to lock me in time.
No luck this time as I align and warp off in under a second. Laughing to myself as he must be cursing, I'm brought crashing back to reality - a warp disruption bubble dropped my warp early, 100km from the gate.
Cursing myself for being careless, I hit the Microwarp Drive and begin approching the gate. Systems alerting me that the Armageddon is back within scan range. He appears once more on my overview and begins locking my ship. Shit, I think, overloading my MWD. My body slowly moving towards the rear end of the capsule as the speed goes up. Twenty kilometers, my ship screaming along at 6.8km/s, the enemy Battleship has locked and begun firing. His lasers spitting streaks of white light, barely missing me, grazing my shields punishingly.
Finally, I hit the gate and jump not a moment too soon, the usual blackness and disorientation of a gate jump as I land in the next system. Eight jumps to go, this is the most fun I've had whilst travelling for some time, and what a welcome as I head towards Venal.

Poe has suprised me with her speed. Now to see what she's like in combat.Dos Tu Mai 'Dossie' Kiellehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02523975130926458317noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3896784565917840254.post-15087179724267267772010-01-19T23:54:00.000-08:002010-01-20T00:30:41.598-08:00Whispers in the DarkThe Sisters have been good to me. Treated me fairly and given me the occasional job to earn money.
I quite enjoy being back in Gallente space again, shame it seems to be another short stay.

I recieved a message requesting my help. It seems one Taisu Magdesh has been causing problems for the Sisters of EVE, so I was asked politely to eradicate his presence.
I arrive at the bookmarked location and am immediately set upon by Taisu and her associates, my Megathong making light work of their ships.
The destruction of all their vessels was promptly followed by a message from Aton Hordnert. Interesting that a rival pirate faction will contact me.
I set destination to Egbinger to find out.Dos Tu Mai 'Dossie' Kiellehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02523975130926458317noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3896784565917840254.post-72572263481104052292010-01-18T05:01:00.000-08:002010-01-18T05:13:01.935-08:00A Simple Fact
The Caldari Navy has been busy, find out what you can where you are then report back to me. We may find something interesting.
Be wary, however - we understand there is some interest in your activities. It seems the state is beginning to figure out the link between the White Rabbits Corporation and the Guristas pirate organisation. Today has just begun in the most interesting way.
I reach my destination and dock, a note left for me by my secretive friend in my new room. Someone pushed their wallet somewhat, telling by the luxury apartments that were assigned to me. As I read, the decision of which ships to use are laid out for me: something small and fast, and something that packs a far greater punch.

My Hawk, call-sign: 'Guristas Kyoukan,' slides out of Eglennaert I – Moon 4 – Federal Navy Assembly Plant. A simple recon mission against a small Caldari State installation in system, protected only by a small group of Frigates...
Returning to the station after destroying the installation and its protection, I immediately head to the shower. I'll never get used to these pods... I shudder at the memory it drags up then turn up the thermostat.Dos Tu Mai 'Dossie' Kiellehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02523975130926458317noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3896784565917840254.post-92067548079463617822009-12-18T02:56:00.000-08:002009-12-18T03:00:35.474-08:00True Spirit. My collection of vessels comes back, systems reworked and large amounts rebuilt to include different hardpoints.
I smile, noting the curious looks of my crew stood beside my Gila class Cruiser. They must be thinking the same as me.
"Refit her and make ready for disembarcation, I have a good feeling about my ship," handing the dataslate to the lead engineer.

"Spirit of Korako, you're clear to undock," the docking crew affirm the undocking clearance. Automated undocking systems guiding the Gila class Guristas Cruiser to the exit tube.
A large crowd assembled in the viewing galleries as there always is when a rare vessel undocks. She stops, attitude thrusters firing, turning the vessel around.
The drone bay opens, and a group of Ogre Heavy Attack drones exit, their small wakes creating a firey aura around the mid-sized vessel as she aligns to some unknown destination, the Ogres rushing back into the bay as she warps off.

Shuddering as the Spirit of Korako decellerates from warp, landing atop an acceleration gate at the bookmark my agent gave.
I smile, the bigger drone bay encouraging me to further my drone control skills. I activate the gate, landing amongst several Serpentis ships.
Two Battleships, five Cruiser class and a small gathering of Frigates. The systems hardwired into my cranial implants screaming into life as all vessels begin locking onto my ship.
Excellent, I think, time to see if my rebuilt Gila is as good as I thought.
The drone bay opening, disgorging five Hobgoblin II Light Scout Drones who immediately make a bee-line for the nearest Frigate, my attention centered on the Cruisers.
Missiles firing, making short work of my targets, the drones tearing holes into the last Frigate. As the last Cruiser and Frigate explode, I recall the Hobgoblins.
Battleships, Hobbos wont tickle. I begin approching the closest Serpentis Vindicator class Battleship, my Ogre Heavy Attack Drones dropping from the drone bay.

A small part of my mind searching the market for Medium Core Defence Feild Purger II, viewing the prices. I begin orbitting the larger vessel at 10km, ordering up a sustained volley from my three heavy missile batteries, neural pathways subconsciously ordering the drones to engage it.
The enemy vessel's shields drop quickly, suprising myself with the damage I am unleashing, my own shield systems fluctuating between 78-75%. As soon as I can afford them, I'll be refitting to Tech 2 rigs.
My target slowly being torn apart under the onslaught, his repair systems not able to keep up with incoming damage. I begin to turn, approaching the last battleship...

I begin to approach the station, knowing there would still be a small crowd watching my ship from the viewports. "Spirit of Korako to control, requesting permission to dock," a reply from the docking team, "welcome back Miss Kielle, docking permission accepted, please procede to the docking tubes."
Slowly maneuvering the vessel to the docking tubes, my heart rate and metabolism slowing with the slowing velocity of the vessel.

Climbing out of the capsule as the medical staff help me out, I look over to the Gila, resolving to get better drone control skills and upgrade the rigs, I smile.
As much as I loved that and my Worm, they have grown even more on me. I never thought anyone could improve those vessels, but they have.
The mix of high shield resistance, missile range and drone damage has impressed me.
Beautiful, deadly in the right hands. Perfect.Dos Tu Mai 'Dossie' Dos Tu Mai got to her feet, swaying slightly as the sudden action made her dizzy. Her father had taught her to fly in a shuttle, and she had always dreamt of the romance and adventure of the life of a capsuleer.

Maybe I can kill those bastards that destroyed my life, she said silently to herself as she watched the ships dock and undock from the station.

How long had she been unconscious? A message blinking on her screen: farewell, Starkiller...

Two days ago:
Something was following her ship - an aging Incursus-class Frigate named ‘Aeko’ - but nothing was visible.
Checking the overview and scanning the surrounding area with every system. Nothing out of the ordinary, a moon 2.9AU distant, and a lush, verdant green planet a little further.

Several unknown vessels de-cloaked 25km from her small ship, locking onto her. They looked like Kestrel-class Frigates – an even dozen all told – but the black coloration and Caldari Navy insignia on the side told her otherwise. She tried hailing the lead ship, “this is Xiao Mei in the civilian vessel ‘Aeko,’ we’re not hostile and just patrolling the area for low-ranking pirates. Please respond.”

All hell broke loose.

A thick accent came over the NeoComm system, “Gallente scum, prepare to die. Squad lead to all units, engage. Blow this ship to hell.”
There was no time to think. Taking the helm, she ordered her ship to align, swinging the little ship about. “Warp drive has been shut down,” engineering reported. Shit, she thought. Staring out of the view port in disbelief, she saw the first volley of missiles screaming toward her. Acting on instinct and beginning evasive manoeuvres, “engineering, gunnery, let’s get this show on the road. Load up the Antimatter into the guns, we’ll see if these Caldari scum like a taste of our Blasters.”
Gaining target lock with the nearest ship, she engaged.

Multiple impacts made the ship shudder, tearing the shields apart. Armor repair system on, she began to open fire. First volley missed, second volley... third hit, taking a large chunk out of her target’s shield. A few more volleys. The enemy vessel began to align. Heavy armor damage both being given and taken.
I’ll take at least one of you with me. Her mind racing as she moved to re-address, locking a second ship, nanobot armor assemblers straining to patch the incoming damage. Her basic training in the Gallente military had taught her many things, but this was a new tactic to her. Primary target warped off. Awaiting the cycle, she engaged the second ship. Alarm systems screaming for her attention as the capacitor begins to empty. Another sound, the ship’s sensors picking up another two vessels approaching – both Worm-class Frigates.

Guristas pirates, here? What are they doing so far into Gallente nullsec? The Caldari vessel she was attacking explodes. The shockwave of the explosion rocks her ship, capacitor stabilising.
“Civilian vessel, ‘Aeko,’ disengage, we’ll take care of these idiots,” a woman’s voice said over the NeoComm. Ignoring them, Mei turned her ship and locked another, opening fire. The Guristas pilots both engaging different targets, their warp disruptors keeping the vessels locked down and unable to warp.
The enemy fleet turns around. Mei thinking of nothing but blood locked and began to engage the lead ship. The unknown pilots joined her, locking down his warp drive. “Xiao Mei to lead vessel, call off your attack or my friends and I will litter the system with your wreckage.” No answer.
The same female voice speaking over the NeoComm system, “Caldari scum, this is Usagi Kielle of the Guristas Associates. I am here for blood, yours, to be precise, Aldo Saenz. You killed my parents – who were peaceful merchants - in Jita. Now it is time for your end.”
The three vessels – Mei and the Guristas pilots – opened fire, tearing the target apart in seconds. The warp core breached, sending a shockwave several kilometres out.

Aeko sat there, floating lazily in space, her slender lines reflecting the light of the twin stars.
The Guristas pilots both orbiting, and firing the occasional volley of missiles at each other. Why they decided to stay perplexed Mei as she watched the ships both make sudden manoeuvres, dog-fighting and kiting each other’s vessels.

Usagi spoke privately to her friend and Corp mate, “I have a bad feeling about this. Something is going to happen. We’ll stay here awhile then leave.”
There was no need for anything else to be said. She opened a comm channel with Mei, “align to the red star, I’ll warp us on my mark, they know you were in this belt.” Linking their systems into a fleet, Usagi warped the three Frigates to the star.

How they did it - Mei was never sure - but Usagi and her unknown friend flew for hours, hunting their rival Serpentis pilots, harrying them in the asteroid belts and chasing them around the system like the legendary wolves of ancient tales.
Try as she could, she was never able to keep up with the speed and precision of the two Guristas pilots. Warping back to the star, she retired to her cot.

The reverberating shudder of multiple impacts, and the sirens awoke her. The gawping faces of her crewmen told her of the dread sight that awaited her – Leviathan, Titan - the biggest class of ship in New Eden. She had heard reports, and seen images of the great monstrosities, but had never seen one in space.
She could only stare.
Those who saw an enemy Titan seldom lived to speak of it. A sound brought her out of her reverie, the sound of the Caldari Hornet Drones firing and slowly destroying her ship’s shields. Shouting orders to her stricken crewmen, she spoke into her comms channel. “Mei to fleet, I’m under attack. Enemy Titan – Leviathan-class – attacking me, I can’t warp.” She heard the acknowledgement and began to move her ship, heading straight towards the star. Quickly she gained distance, the Titan-class ship was far slower then she expected. With an exultant cry she left disruptor range and warped several thousand kilometres towards the sun, her new friends warping into her position. “What Titan?” Usagi’s friend asked, sounding bored.

An explosion tore the silence apart. The second Guristas ship breaching as a torpedo engulfed the small vessel in its massive corona. A smouldering wreck took the place of what had once been a nimble ship.
Usagi cursed as she threw her ship about and opened fire as the Leviathan sent out a wave of Hornet Light Drones. A switch clicked in place within Mei’s mind. “I have an idea, how many missiles do you have in your hold?”
“I have six thousand missiles left, why?” Usagi asked, confused. Following Mei’s instructions, she jettisoned 5,000 of her missiles into space, as a Hobgoblin Light Drone flew past and engaged the enemy drones. “Keep big boy there busy then run when I say.” Mei said as she turned around, warping to the star.

“It’s been an honour flying with you guys.” Mei said over the internal intercoms. It had been. They were the best two crewmen she had ever known and was considering raising their pay once she passed the tests to become a Capsuleer.
If her sensors were right, this little red dwarf star was unstable, and in theory, a big enough detonation would cause it to turn nova.
She hoped...

Her crew had left the frigate and were travelling home in their escape pods whilst she muttered a hopeful prayer to every God she could think of. This had to work, if it did, she’d be single-handedly striking a massive blow to the Caldari Navy in the destruction of one of their most powerful vessels.
The red glow and heat in the cockpit intensified as she drew closer, shield systems struggling to compensate.
She had to get closer. But the heat, the light, so intense...
She had to do this, her consciousness was slipping. Longing for the deep, cool darkness was awaited her. Shaking her head, she focused on her task. I must do this. If my life needs to be used like this to harm the State, then I shall do this, she thought.
“Run, now,” she managed to say over the fleet channel before the darkness engulfed her.

The star went nova.
Caught up in the sudden, violent explosion, the Leviathan was ripped open, spilling its pressurised guts into the void. It burst like a swollen balloon, spinning around under its shuddering impact and spewing its contents in a trail of fire behind itself. Then it was gone...Dos Tu Mai 'Dossie' Kiellehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02523975130926458317noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3896784565917840254.post-79352179264142467752009-12-01T04:16:00.000-08:002009-12-01T04:22:14.578-08:00RecallA new mail notifier blinks as I awake from my sleep cycle.
My toys are going to be recalled and rebuilt to the latest technology. A crimson smile across milky flesh.
My nemesis - like the mindless beast it is - circles slowly, snarling. It's large fangs glistening.
It strikes. Rushing headlong towards me, my body poised and balanced, ready to strike with the 18cm daggers in my hands.

My heart skips a beat as I hesitate, the sickening crunch as the beast collides with me.
I land some 5 meters from the beast, pawing it's face as I search through the mouldering leaf litter. A quick glance tells me where one of my blades landed. The handle of my dagger sticking out of the side of its face.
A non-fatal blow. "Where are you dammit," I say through gritted teeth, still searching the litter for my other dagger.
The beast rears. Loud, raucous, ear splitting howls. So beastial and raw, my skin crawling, a shiver sending unnerving shudders down my spine, wishing I had a more substantial weapon - a sword, maybe a small arm.
I see a glint in the corner of my eye, the matt black blade of my other dagger. I make a lunge and grab at the hilt.

The ground shudders, then the beast howls again. I roll over, as it pounces. It happens as if in slow motion.
The great beast landing on top of me, its heavy mass pushing me into the sodden earth.
Gaping maw opening, exposing rows of large, razor sharp teeth, the carrion stench of its breath washing over me, making my eyes water with the rancid smell.
My life flashes before my eyes, thinking this will be my last memory until the medics pull my new clone out of the tank...

The deafening roar again then silence. Beautiful, milky black. Peace.
A gloating laugh and a heavy weight crushing my chest.
I look down and yelp in suprise, the severed head of the beast glaring, snarling up at me with glassy eyes, "isn't hunting fun?" A familiar voice chides. Groaning I look up, "Mei, why don't you just help me up?"Dos Tu Mai 'Dossie' Kiellehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02523975130926458317noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3896784565917840254.post-84058351810473188082009-10-21T18:03:00.000-07:002009-10-21T18:11:01.682-07:00Why you little... My latest aquisition - a Harpy class Assault Ship sat in the dock being loaded and prepared to leave.
I'm off on a hunting trip and have a locus gravity container filled to the top with Javelin S rounds. Today I shall be scouting Stacmon...

Stacmon:
Nothing but a few unknown miners. Disappointing. But a few new chances.
Oppertunity knocks as I warp into the second belt, a Retriever with a canister floating beside it. Pushing my search for information aside, I kick in the Afterburner and approach the can belonging to 'LE4u5,' jettisoning my own and transferring his hard mined ore into it. I sit and wait, the can of rocks floating idley beside my ship. The Retriever class Mining Barge warping away.
I sit and wait for a moment then destroy the ill gotten gains. He wasn't coming back.
Two more belts down, a few low-ranking Serpentis pilots down. I engage my warp drive to fly to the next belt and an Executioner class Frigate enters behind me. LE4u5. Damn, too late. I call out in the local NeoComm channel as I land in the belt, "LE4u5, I'm in belt IX - 1, come fight me if you feel it absolutely neccesary." No response. Four more low-ranking Serpentis pilots arrive in the belt and I immediately engage, my 125mm Railgun IIs tearing them to shreds.
I scan the wrecks and my sensors alert me to a new ship within scanner range. Executioner class Frigate belonging to LE4u5. Excellent! My onboard computer alerts me to his lock-on, responding in kind I return lock.
Laser fire streaking space, lightspeed bolts of super-heated light causing electromagnetic damage on my shield systems - the weak point of all shield systems. I approach and begin warp scrambling him, hoping the effect of my Warp Scrambler II would nullify his Microwarpdrive. Constant speed, odd.
Engaging my Nosferatu and four 125mm Railgun II turrets, I engage. His sheilds melting in seconds - a mere 3 volleys - his armor disintegrating under my sustained fire.
How is his ship fitted? Why is his armor being demolished so fast? I begin to suspect the worst. His damage may be low against me, but maybe he opted for a man-tank. Structure tanking is for real men - supposedly.
Again, I was wrong. What was this man doing? He's been a registered capsuleer for almost 2 years, was he baiting me?

The engagement ended abruptly, his ship destroyed, escape pods and his own capsule warping out.
"I should've brought out my Absolution out," he says in local. Keeping calm, breathing slowly to keep my voice calm and level - I respond. "Come out in whatever you want, I am willing to fight you in anything..."

A short conversation in local, I shant bore you with the details led me to feel something. Whether it was remorse or respect, I have no idea, but it lead me to inviting him to the recruitment channel for our Academy.
He seems an intelligent individual, maybe he will fit in well with the Guristas Associates.
Only time will tell.Dos Tu Mai 'Dossie' Kiellehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02523975130926458317noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3896784565917840254.post-74472445702851065122009-10-01T04:37:00.000-07:002009-10-01T05:03:39.273-07:00A Quiet Word in One's Ear.I awake, looking at my chronometer. 0937. Still too early.
Laying back down, I look over to the lamp next to the bed and sigh. A casing first real ship cannon I fired turned into a simple bed-side lamp.
A sudden noise makes me jump - my NeoComm beeping to alert me of a private channel request.
"Are you the one at war with Cash Hand's Corp?" The unknown voice enquires.
"At war? No, why do you ask?" Unsure of what to make of this person. "Hmm, well either way, they moved to Stacmon. Just for your information." Then he cuts off the channel.

Who is this man, and what interests does he have with myself and Industry Infamous?
Well, I may just have to find out. "Belt III-1 clear."
"Not another boring night belt hoppi-," I get cut off, "2 Hulks, Retriever, Bestower with a can in belt VI-1. I'm heading to the can, going to flip them." Giggling, I roger then begin aligning to the belt, "warping to the belt."

I drop out of warp, a grin on my face as I see Bella's Arbitrator class Cruiser, swiftly kicking in my Microwarpdrive and approaching in my Vexor class Cruiser. I stop and sit, waiting for them to agress.
Waiting...
The Bestower starts to move, it's cumbersome mass shuddering as it turns, the bloated dance of an overfed slaver hound. Readying my weapons to fire incase he was foolish enough to engage. Sensors picking up the velocity as he warps away. Off scan.
That was disappointing...
Several low-ranking Guristas appear on scan, two immediately targetting the weaker Retriever class Mining Barge. They engage and start tearing up the shield systems, the other two ganging up on one of the Hulks.

Outmatched, the other Despoiler rank Guristas Frigates get destroyed swiftly by the Hulk's Warrior II Light Combat Drones. I sigh and begin scanning the Retriever. 50% shields. Speaking to Bella over comms, giggling about the plight of the evidently oblivious Mining Barge.
Bella scans the ship, signs of life detected, capsule... had the pilot fallen asleep? Why weren't the Hulk's drones coming to their Corp mate's aid?
The shields finally crumble, armor melting rapidly as we watch, now into structure...
The hapless beast ruptures, the warp coil exploding under the strain. Quickly seizing the oppertunity, Bella checks the wreckage. Struck gold. One Erin Mining Laser Upgrade in the mangled structure, as well as some of the ore and other ship modules.
The capsule warps away. We wait again.

As I was about to give the order to leave, a Devoter class Heavy Interdictor appears, her war tunnel collapsing.
A dirty yellow canister icon appearing on the overview instead of our nice clean white icon. His ship aggressed.
Targetting him, we open fire, and engage our warp disruptors. Bella's Arbitrator primaried. I let loose my drones on the enemy ship, swiftly engaging my targetting matrixes to repair Bella's armor.
Cap running dry, booster popped. That's more healthy.
The Devoter's shield dying quickly. The damage on Bella slowing, he's switching target. Bella calling out, her drones gaining the agression. She recalls them and sends out Valkyrie class Medium Attack Drones in their place. Grinding away on the armor, cursing the Amarr for making such resilient armor. Bella's Energy Neutraliser systems stopping as I assume her capacitor couldn't take the strain, her Vampires still merrily sucking away on our target's power core.
His armor begins to melt under our onslaught, adrenaline coursing through my body.
Into structure, he fights back with valor as his once noble ship begins to be torn apart. Hyper velocity rounds peppering rents into his ship.

A moment of silence as the vessel begins to explode - the reason I became a capsuleer.
My heart beating as I look out, the capsule floating for a moment. A good fight.Dos Tu Mai 'Dossie' Kiellehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02523975130926458317noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3896784565917840254.post-75592516160728008332009-09-24T07:46:00.000-07:002009-09-24T11:19:25.277-07:00Deadly Nightshade.Checking my systems as I prepare my Amarr Navy Slicer, I see a new Corp member - Belladonna Dire. I smile and walk over to her, and ask what she was doing.
She seems interesting and willing to learn.
I invite her out with me for something a little more fun then killing low-ranking rebels - I was going out to harass other capsuleers. We create a fleet and and meet together in a safe location to run through the basics of what we were going to do.

Searching through the belts in Usi we find nothing of interest.
Linking our computer systems together as we meet in Usi VI - belt 3, I gang warp to the Jeras gate. A simple order over comms, "jump on contact, once we get into Jeras - you take the first asteroid belt on the list, I'll take the last - report any findings."
Jeras was bland, flavorless... no one wanted to play.

Oijamon, Osprey class Cruiser on my directional scan.
It comes into visual range, a canister full of ore beside him. Kicking my Afterburner into life and heading to the can, I call to Bella over comms, "Osprey in belt, warp to my position."
Standard protocol, a can jettisoned from my ship and his ore transfered from his to mine.
Bella arrives in the belt, "Target and orbit the Osprey, if he engages or tries to take his ore back, open fire." She confirms and I see her moving into position.
Nothing... his engines coming to life as Bella watches him. "He's aligning to a station."
As we watch him warp away I order the can destroyed, I'm beginning to like this new pilot.

We head back to Usi, then onto Ishomilken and rendezvous with 2 TBRA pilots. A Hawk class Assault Frigate and a Thrasher class Destroyer joining our two Amarr Navy Slicers. Setting our course to Old Man Star. Looking for more interesting opportunities.
Not a lot to report enroute...

Oinasiken, Drake on directional scanner. Sending my fleet to search the asteroid belts, I head towards the Caldari control bunker.
A slight shiver as my comfortable, quick Slicer decelerates, the warp tunnel collapses, the Darke in visual range. I target the ship and engage my Afterburner. Warp disruptor engaging and shutting down his warp core. "I have the Drake, warp to me."
The fleet warps in and the Drake looses his Drones. We start to primary the Hobgoblin IIs, taking out a few.
Taking heavy damage as an Eagle appears in visual range, the Drake tearing my Slicer apart with his Drones and missiles. A resounding "good fight" coming through local.

It was a fun roam, but the fleet lost. Hopefully next time we'll do better.Dos Tu Mai 'Dossie' Kiellehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02523975130926458317noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3896784565917840254.post-73326008685568538582009-09-22T08:20:00.000-07:002009-09-22T08:51:17.307-07:00Karma to BurnThe end of a chapter. One of my favourite ships destroyed.
I'll miss her, and know I'll be hard pressed to replace her - but all good things must come to an end.

A new local, Jack Carnifex. Hopefully not another of those mindless automated mining drones most intelligent people dislike.
His Hulk class Exhumer sat, surrounded by five canisters. I fly over and give his ship a gentle 440m/s nudge and begin the targetting protocols. "What? Are you calling me a macro miner?" He asks. "I was concidering doing a little asset redistribution, I'd blow up Jenna Talls, but it's a macro and most likely still has a wardec on." I sit there beside his canisters as he warps off, "Can you fit all of that in your giant rusty penis?" Giggling as I watch his Bustard Transport ship engulf the ore from the cans. "It has 5 low slots, 33356 m3."
"So, do you have a combat ship, or are you a complete carebear?" I enquire. "Yes. But not in usi." He sighs.
"I has a combat ship!" Pipes up an Achura by the name of Prozacxx. I look at the newcomer's information, "Cruiser?" "I has cruiser, where is pew?" She replies, giggling like a slaver hound with a new toy. "Bottom belt"
A Rupture class Cruiser warps in and I take a moment to look at it. Should I engage or not I ask myself. I shrug and smile, switching on my warp disruptor. It's a good day to die.
I approach at my maximum velocity and release my Hammerhead IIs, her Micro Warpdrive always nudging her out of range for my guns. From the moment I engage, I regret the decision.
One minute passes, she's into armor, no visible or noticeable tank, my shields long gone and armor repair units struggling to keep up with the incoming damage.
The end of my karma.
Good fight we agree, "I'm gonna miss that ship," chuckling as I dock my capsule.
"Hehe, put a mwd next time though. Afterburner makes ship sad."
I sigh and work out how much time it'll take to replace her, slugging out missions with my agent. Well, a lesson to learn. Always fit a Micro Warpdrive and ensure you're 100% certain as you engage.Dos Tu Mai 'Dossie' Kiellehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02523975130926458317noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3896784565917840254.post-18296609920611299602009-09-20T21:40:00.000-07:002009-09-21T15:36:46.976-07:00Cry havoc the dogs of war.Saturday, 19th - Talk Like a Pirate Day:
Gliding out of Usi V - Corporate Police Force station in Karma to Burn.
I have new toys to play with - Hobgoblin II Light Combat Drones. A few hours until I can use the Tech 2 Hammerhead Medium Combat Drones.
I land on the Jeras gate and activate the jump sequence. A quick scan of local and a few mining ships in local and some soft targets. "Ahoy ye scurvey dogs," I broadcast on the local channel.
I search using my ship's onboard directional scanner, hunting down the ship location. Two Frigates, one mining barge on scan, 5 degrees. Warping to the belt I see a new friend - Boydy. His Navitas class Frigate idley floating beside it's can. I kick in the Afterburner unit and stream towards him, readying the crew to exchange can. Canister exchanged and I sit, waiting, "you know the drill."
The young Gallentean fuming, his anger boiling over.
His Corp mate, Urial arrives at the belt in his Prophecey class Battlecruiser and begins targetting my Cruiser. I switch on my Afterburner unit and begin to approach the newcomer.
A flash and an affermation - he agressed, webbed me, I can now legally shoot back under the CONCORD rights of agression act. Drones released.
"Thats it warp away slag, fucking wench. You know whats good for you" Boydy screams over local. I chuckle and respond, "aye, he got me webbed, I can warp any time."
A short skirmish, my Hobgoblin IIs and Light Neutron Blaster IIs tearing holes into his ship. I guess war will be on the cards, and after getting some threatening mail:

2009.09.20 22:58
we just broke thier alliance up yours is next and we r gonna tell your ceo why .........

and forwarding it to my Alliance leader, the great Frederic 'Gilgamesh1980' Chopin, we had a good joke at their expense.
Maybe we will get into the wardec, or maybe we'll have less threats once he realises it will be their worse idea even after paying for mercenaries to come in and fight us.
For freedom and profit. And maybe some more of those explosions I love.Dos Tu Mai 'Dossie' Kiellehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02523975130926458317noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3896784565917840254.post-20833364397821319512009-09-17T02:25:00.000-07:002009-09-17T04:07:35.934-07:00'Lotus.'I drop out of warp and survey the scene, my camera drone picks up a Kronos class Marauder coming out of her warp tunnel, a Guristas emblem on the side next to the ship name 'Lotus.'
I smile as I recognise the callsign. The other ship slips alongside mine and holds position.
We wait. Angel Cartel pilots appear on scan - time to try out my Megathron class Battleship. I rotate my camera drone and watch as 'Lotus' begins to move forward, her massive 425mm Railguns coming to life. I turn my ship and begin engaging the nearest Angel Battleship, answering their fire with my own 425mm Railguns.
I open fleet communications, "warp to me, we can handle the incoming damage." Moments later, a Dominix and a Raven class Battleship drop out of warp a few short kilometers off both the Megathron varients.
A quick glance at 'Lotus,' cool and collected as ever, her guns cycling as we all strike the local Angel Cartel a damaging blow. Missiles firing, drones swarming and hyper velocity Antimatter rounds annihalating everything in range...
The final area cleared and a few moments. I turn my Megathron around and approach 'Lotus.'
I hear a giggle over the fleet Neocomm channel and adjust my view.
Giggling as I move a little closer, gently nudging the under side of 'Lotus' and take a picture.
That was worth saving.
"What are you two giggling about?" Asked Callibi. We giggle a little more as we see Laamet's Dominix appear on scan, then Callibi's Raven and a new addition to our fleet: a Prophecy class Battlecruiser belonging to Jasimine Yokosuka.
I hear her giggle as she looks at the position of our ships, and fire a quick volley from my guns. "ouch, that hurt." Then a giggle as she fires a volley from her laser turrets.
We wait a few moments then set out the plan. We know of another area of Angels, 'Lotus' will warp in first followed swiftly by the rest of he fleet. I relay the order through the internal comms channel and get ready. "I'm out of warp, come to me." We all roger and warp in, several Angel Battleships to finish our extravaganza.
Mission completed, we head back to Kaimon and dock. A healthy wallet balance and a good day of missioning.

I step out of my capsule and head straight for my quarters. Being a capsuleer is fun and an interesting lifestyle, but the ambiotic fluids inside the pod leaves a nasty residue in your hair. My clothes fall off as I start walking to the shower in my quarters.
The warm water beating off my skin as I rinse the ambiotic fluids off, singing happily to myself. I hear the door open and jump out of the shower. Pistol in hand, I slowly open the door.
A figure near my bed. Creeping stealthily behind the figure I strike, my blade streaking through the air like the fire of a beam laser. I hear the scream and turn on the light, the Kronos pilot lay on my bed, blade to her throat.
She wriggles beneath me, smiling and looking up at me through her lashes, "are you going to just drip on ?" I blush and look. Stepping back and dragging her into the shower with me I grin. "I missed you so much, Jesia..."Dos Tu Mai 'Dossie' Kiellehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02523975130926458317noreply@blogger.com0
